the origin of judo
Origin of Judo
Jigoro Kano (1860-1936), a young Japanese student, felt sorry to see many traditional martial arts disappearing, so he opened a judo martial arts school and devoted his life to studying judo. He absorbed the essence of various schools, compared and selected, and finally created his own technique - judo in 1882.
Judo techniques demonstrate that a certain flexibility and adaptability can counteract greater strength.

Brief Introduction of Judo Uniform
Judo uniforms are clothes worn during training, made of ordinary cloth, and are the clothes worn by ancient Japanese farmers. The cotton judo Gi is a traditional martial arts garment made of cotton fabric, designed specifically for judo. It consists of a top (the gi) and a pair of pants (the judo pants), and is characterized by its durability, comfort, and breathability.
The garment is usually white and is an essential part of a judo practitioner's equipment, providing ease of movement during practice and competition. Judo uniforms are strong linen, with wide sleeves and trouser legs. The top is fastened with a belt and the collar is thickened.
Judo has a ranking system, which is divided into ten levels and five grades. The color of the belt indicates the level. The belts from the first to the fifth dan are black, the belts from the sixth to the eighth dan are red and white, and the belts from the ninth to the tenth dan are red. The colors of the five grades from low to high are: brown, blue, green, orange, and yellow; beginners who have not entered the grade are white belts.
