1. Surface Dust Removal: First, use a soft-bristled brush or clean cloth to gently brush away dust and loose dirt from the surface.
2. Spot Cleaning: For visible stains, use a slightly damp cloth (preferably white to avoid staining) to gently wipe. Avoid using cleaners containing bleach or strong chemicals as they may damage the material.
3. Internal cleaning: The inside of the boxing headgear is prone to odor due to the accumulation of sweat. You can use a soft cloth dipped in diluted neutral cleaning liquid to wipe the lining, and then wipe it clean with a clean damp cloth.
4. Drying: Air drying is the best option, but you can also use a fan to dry it. Do not use heat sources such as a hair dryer or expose it directly to sunlight, as high temperatures may cause the material to deform or damage.
5. Regular cleaning: In addition to basic cleaning after each training session, deep cleaning should be performed regularly to thoroughly remove accumulated dirt and odor. This can be achieved by wiping the inside and outside of the head guard with baby wipes or alcohol wipes.
By following these steps, you can effectively wash and maintain your boxing head guard, extend its life and maintain good training results.
