Athletes must wear Taekwondo protective gear when they are in training, actual combat or competition. Taekwondo protective gear includes a head guard, chest guard, hand guard, arm guard, and leg guard. The order in which each person wears this protective gear may be different, depending on personal habits. Generally speaking, you can wear the hand guard last so that you can put on other protective gear faster.
First, you can put on the protective shoes, put your feet into the protective shoes, and wrap around the shoes and then wrap it on the back to stick it on. (You can wear socks)

When wearing the chest guard, put your arms through the shoulder straps, adjust the tightness and buckle them at the back waist, and adjust them to fit your body.

Shin guards are very similar to arm guards, and the wearing method is similar. Arm guards should be worn on the outside of the forearm, which is often used for blocking. Leg guards should be placed on the front bone. Wrap around the arm or calf, and then fixed with Velcro. Don't make it too tight or too loose to make yourself uncomfortable.

It is okay to put the head guard after you do the above actions, so that you won't feel stuffy if you put it on too early. First, make sure the front and back of the headgear and don't make yourself wear it backwards. Then buckle the headgear on your head, do not cover the eye sockets, and fix the elastic band at the chin. Do not make it too tight or too loose. Some of the headgear on the market has masks, some do not, and some of the mask styles are detachable and some are fixed. I think it will be better to have a mask to protect your face and nose.

Finally, put on the hand guard. Put your hand into the protective gear, then put the thumb and other fingers in the corresponding position, and finally buckle the Velcro at the wrist.

Now that you are dressed, start your training!
