What is the difference between a boxing target with a curve and one without a curve?

1. Curved target: The curved target is closer to the shape of the human body, which can help boxers better simulate the sense of striking and aiming point in actual competitions during training. Due to the existence of the curvature, boxers need to adjust their striking angle and strength more accurately to ensure that they hit the bull's eye, which helps improve the accuracy and power control of the strike. More importantly, the curved target can disperse the striking force, reduce the pressure on the hands and wrists of the target holder, and reduce the risk of injury.

2. Target without a curve: We can also call it flat target. Flat targets may be more suitable for basic technical training because they provide a clear, simple target to hit, suitable for novices or boxers focusing on specific technical training. Flat targets are usually lighter and thinner, easy to carry and store, suitable for mobile training or training environments with limited space. In terms of manufacturing and maintenance, flat targets are cheaper and may be relatively more economical because their structure is relatively simple and the difficulty of production process is reduced.

In general, the curved boxing target may have advantages in improving the complexity of the technique and preparing for actual combat, while the non-curved target may be more suitable for the cultivation of basic skills and convenient training needs.
