In Taekwondo, the belt is typically wrapped around the waist twice (double layered) and positioned low, at the top hips.
Your height and waist circumference should determine the length of the Taekwondo belt. Generally speaking, the length of the belt should be able to go around the waist and be tied tightly while leaving an appropriate margin.
Usually, the belt length for adults is between 2 meters and 3 meters. The belt length for children is between 1.5 meters and 2 meters. Make sure the belt length is suitable for your body size to ensure comfort and safety, while also showing your Taekwondo level and achievements. You can choose the belt length that best suits you according to the size chart. 👇
